Some of these stills are copper, which can make vodka or any other spirits, but of course that's illegal in the United States. Others are made from stainless steel, which can only make ethanol. Ethanol can be produced from any biological feedstock's that contain appreciable amounts of sugar or materials that can be converted into sugar such as starch or cellulose. Corn, molasses and sugar cane are all great choices to start with. |
